Tunde

Tunde, received his MBA from Harvard Business School, his MS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan, and his BS in Mechanical Engineering from Rutgers University. Tunde’s career path has spanned in the Automotive, Aerospace, Retail, and Technology sectors. Before business school, he worked in product development, designing parts for military planes at Lockheed Martin and passenger cars at Ford Motor Company. After years of professional development in the engineering field, he switched careers. During his two years at HBS, he immersed himself in the b-school experience. He was an active member in the Retail & Luxury club. Also, he took a leadership role in the African Business club. He even ran unsuccessfully, albeit fun, for president of the student body! Post-MBA, Tunde followed his passion for the retail space and joined Limited Brands. Here, he took on roles in marketing, finance, and merchandise planning for the Victoria’s Secret brand. He subequently moved to Nigeria to be one of the pioneers in the burgeoning Ecommerce industry. As a senior executive at both the leading e-commerce pure plays in Africa, he drove exponential growth. Subsequently after that, he led the largest Pharmaceutical chain in western Africa as their Chief Commercial Officer. He is currently the Chief Retail Officer at REACH Technologies, a fintech using technology to offer consumer credit in the African market. During his down-time, he spends time with his family and co-runs Hope 4 Girls Africa (H4G), a nonprofit that uses basketball to empower young African women.
