How should I prepare for the first meeting?

Don’t overthink it. The consultation isn’t an interview, and there’s no right way to show up. If you’ve taken the initiative to book a call, you’re already ready.

If you have a preliminary program list or a target start date, bring it. If there are specific concerns on your mind — a GPA trend that needs context, uncertainty about which program type fits your goals, a career-change narrative you’re unsure how to frame, or questions about competitiveness for accelerated or direct-entry programs — name them upfront. We’d rather spend the time on what actually matters to you than walk through generic overviews.

Use the time to dig in. Ask real questions. Get something genuinely useful out of the conversation.

And if none of that is ready, come anyway. Some of our most productive consultations start with nothing more than “I know I want to go into nursing, but I’m not sure which path makes sense.” That’s a completely valid starting point — and one we’re very comfortable working from.
