Kayla
Kayla is an MBA Candidate at Columbia Business School and earned a BS in Finance from Virginia Tech. She specializes in VC, entrepreneurship, and corporate intrapreneurship. When she is not investing in game-changing tech startups, she is busy launching her own consumer startup. Previously, she led corporate innovation initiatives for leading Fortune 500 firms. Her diverse background also includes media, branding, and entertainment. In her past, she drove record-breaking ratings for the #1 show on cable TV and helped cast Emmy-winning TV shows with A-list talent. In her free time, she volunteers as a business strategy consultant for an acclaimed autism nonprofit, and is currently working on a service initiative to help drive the entrepreneurial economy in Sub-Saharan Africa. Her passion and excitement for helping people to achieve their full potential, from students to startup founders and actors, is what gets her out of bed in the morning!
