MBA School Selection Advice

Select the right school for your learning style, interests, and goals

While the various rankings of MBA programs are a good starting point for school selection, rankings alone cannot tell you which schools best fit your background and career goals. Admit Advantage will help you determine which programs best match your individual experiences, qualifications, and long-term career and personal aspirations.

Using detailed profiles of MBA schools that include proprietary information generated by our consultants and clients who have attended the schools, Admit Advantage will help you weigh important factors in selecting your target schools, including your intended industry, geographic preferences, GPA and GMAT scores, and academic focus, as well as the characteristics of a school's curriculum and learning approach, alumni network, brand, and career services department.

You will prepare a baseline list of target schools using Admit Advantage's rigorous set of analytical tools and templates, including the Personal Achievement Template (PAT™), to weigh personal factors and goals. Admit Advantage will work with you to refine the target school list to those that will help you obtain the optimal blend of experience, education, and alignment with your aspirations.

An intended benefit of the school selection analysis is the opportunity to acutely articulate why you are seeking admittance to a particular MBA program. This focused approach enables Admit Advantage clients to differentiate themselves from other MBA candidates, yielding higher acceptance rates within the MBA admissions process.
